We should arrive at the Maasai mara at about lunchtime, which we’ll enjoy at our chosen accommodation.
Then, get ready for the awesome expanse and stirring wildlife populations of the great reserve. This is one of the world’s great reserves. This is one of the world’s great eco-systems and unparalleled for its diversity of wildlife. Hunters and grazers, both large and small fill the sweeping hills and savannahs of the beautiful park.

You’ll spend the first of two nights in the park at your choice of safari lodge or tented camp.
DAY 2
We’ll be up early to view the park’s abundant wildlife, said to the densest of any park in the region. This will be a day of unlimited game drives over the golden fields and past the distinctive acacia trees adorning these plains.
Be on the lookout for Africa’s Big five -lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. The birdlife is also abundant, and should you be here during the season of great migration (July-October), prepare yourself to witness the largest movement of animals on the planet.
Primary made up wildebeest and zebra, the migrating animals cross into the park by thousands at the mara river, alsothe site of hippos and waiting crocodiles.
Potential drama here is inescapable as the streaming herds enter these lands for fresh grasses as the predators lie in wait.
Adding more richness to your Maasai mara experience, you can enjoy an optional visit to one of the local villages. There you’ll meet the Maasai and see their lifestyle up close.
Another optional event is early morning Got air balloon ride over the reserve. Take in the park below coming to life as fields light up and the wildlife begin a new day on the savannah. a magnificent experience – just ask your driver/guide to set up either or both activities. We’ll spend our second night in the park at your choice of accommodation.
DAY 3
Our last safari day – let’s make the most of it with an early rise and game drive. By now you should be checking off list of animal sightings but there’s always time for more.

Amboseli National Park
The 3-day safari will be like,
DAY 1: Nairobi- Amboseli National Park:
We will pick you up from your Nairobi Hotel, residence or the Nairobi airport. We’ll head out in your private 4 x 4 Jeep, on the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway. !
This is a relaxing drive through African savannah country, with local homesteads punctuating the vast plain. Watch for Maasai herdsmen, draped in their colorful wraps as they tend to their flocks.
We should arrive in Amboseli National Park in the late morning. Entering the park, you can’t miss the wall of mountain to the south – this is legendary Mt. Kilimanjaro, known as the “roof of Africa”, rising to 19,000 feet. It’s the continent’s tallest peak and the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
This is the backdrop to much of the park’s wildlife and always a gift to photographers, so have your camera ready for the next 3 days! We’ll enjoy lunch at your accommodation and then head out for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is known for its relative ease in wildlife spotting. All of Africa’s Big Five are here as well as zebra, giraffe, cheetah, warthog, ostrich and many more.
Toward evening, the cloud cover obscuring Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summit may clear, giving us one of Africa’s most striking vistas. We’ll enjoy the evening, our first of two in the park at your choice of safari lodge or tented camp.
DAY 2; A Full Day of Game Viewing
We like to rise early while on safari to set an adventurous tone for the day. We’ll watch the light breaking upon the park and catch the wildlife as it appears on the savannah.
Our next assignment: breakfast! And then another morning game drive through the park. One of the advantages of Amboseli is that the terrain is open with thin foliage. This makes the game spotting easier.
We’ll be watching for lion and leopard and the park’s almost ever-present great parade of elephants. Seeing the magnificent elephants patrolling in line before the majesty of Kilimanjaro is a special treat of this reserve.
Lunch at your accommodation is next and perhaps some relaxing time. The day is yours to pace as you want. Should you want to fill your day with unlimited game drives, your guide is available to make that happen as well.
We’ll relax and spend our second and final night at the park.
DAY 3 Amboseli – Nairobi
Our final day in the park and we want to squeeze in all the game viewing we can. We’ll start on a pre-breakfast safari and see who we can check off our list. Don’t forget to look for the smaller animals here like hyenas, foxes, jackals and monkeys.
There’s also a colorful variety of rich birdlife in the park – pelican, kingfisher, egret and heron are found near the park’s marshes and lakes.
We’ll enjoy one more Amboseli breakfast, with views of great Kilimanjaro and then a final game drive as we exit the reserve.
It’s time for our drive back to Nairobi. It’s also a time to dwell upon all the wildlife we’ve seen and experienced over our 3-day safari.
We’ll be back in town late afternoon and drop you off at your hotel, residence or the airport. Amboseli is just one of Kenya’s many fine wildlife parks and reserves. We hope to see you again so we may show you more of our natural wonders. From all of us at Thanni Tours, we thank you for your time and patronage.

Scuba Diving

WE ONLY OFFER
• Open water diving
• Night diving
• Wreck diving
Open Water Diving
Is a normal basic dive: dropping into the ocean, usually off a boat, and exploring underwater for 60 minutes or so. There’s always something to see, such as a colorful reef, coral garden.
Night Diving
It’s like a regular diving, but at night dives may seem frightening but are actually some of the most peaceful, especially when surrounded by bioluminescent creatures and animal you can’t see at night, like deeper sea fish and glowing jellies.
Wreck Diving
If you’re diving around a shipwreck, you’re technically wrecked diving. But when most people say wreck diving, they’re referring to dives in which you can swim through shipwrecks. Though it seems easy, dark rooms and the potential for poor visibility as well as tight spaces and low ceilings mean only trained or experienced divers should attempt to go inside ships.
Inclusive of:
• Transportation to & from
• Park ticket
• Boat ride
• Lunch
• Single dive
